Liverpool FC are set to stick to their initial pricing demands for wantaway attacker Harry Wilson, who has attracted interest from Sean Dyche’s Burnley in recent months.
The Clarets had reportedly tabled a £12 million bid for the Welsh international earlier this week, however, recent reports from the Atheltic’s reporter Andy Jones on Twitter suggest that the Reds have refused to give into Burnley’s transfer approach for the 23-year old Wilson.

Wilson started Liverpool FC’s latest EFL Cup fixture against Arsenal in mid-week, the Welshman being handed only his second start in the Reds shirt over the course of his stay at Anfield. He missed his spot-kick in the penalty shootout, which ultimately led to Jurgen Klopp’s men crashing out of the cup tournament.
In declining Burnley’s offer for Wilson, Liverpool FC have made their stance clear over holding out for a greater fee, which rumours suggest should be in the region of £15 million to part ways with the ex-AFC Bournemouth loanee.
Keeping Wilson at the Merseyside outfit could prove to be a great decision on Klopp’s part in order to foster the youngster’s development in the Liverpool FC shirt and using the Welshman as a squad rotation option in domestic cup ties.
