According to the latest of transfer rumours involving the in-demand midfield star Marko Grujic, the Daily Mail have reported that the Serbian international is being eyed by both Southampton and West Ham United before Monday’s deadline day of this summer’s transfer window.
Grujic has been widely tipped to seal an Anfield exit this summer with a host of Bundesliga clubs, including Hertha Berlin being interested in signing the central midfielder. However, none of the German top-flight sides have approached Liverpool FC so far and the player has had to stay at the Merseyside outfit, despite him not being a part of Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans.
He did start both games in the EFL Cup over the last couple of weeks, a 7-2 win over Lincoln City, and the loss to Arsenal on penalties in the subsequent cup fixture. Grujic has looked rather sharp in the centre of the park for Liverpool FC and found the back of the net too against the third-round opponents.
However, with Jurgen Klopp’s squad having plenty of midfield options, it seems as if Grujic would be forced to call it quits at Liverpool FC for a loan opportunity arising at either the Saints or West Ham if rumours are come to be believed.
