Borussia Dortmund’s goal machine Erling Haaland is being touted as a potential forward that Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp will be delighted to add to his ranks in next year’s summer transfer window, according to Don Balon.
The Norway international’s stock in world football has risen admirably over the past year, with Haaland’s attacking exploits for RB Salzburg in the Austrian league and Champions League helping the youngster seal a move to Borussia Dortmund in January of this year.
His spell in Germany too has been a resounding success, which has only made other top clubs across Europe, including the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, sit up and take notice of the 20-year old striker. However, Dortmund does know that in order to part ways with Haaland, the Bundesliga club will be in a position to demand a significant transfer fee.
With the Reds’ misfiring on the attacking front of late, largely due Roberto Firmino’s below-par goalscoring returns since the backend of last season, Haaland’s addition to the squad at Anfield would mean that Liverpool FC will have a proven goalscorer on their hands, in addition to the world-class duo of Mohammad Salah and Sadio Mane.
