Top European clubs queue up to make a move for Mohammad Salah

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville claims that a host of top sides across Europe will be queuing up to sign Liverpool FC star attacker Mohammad Salah should the recent speculation concerning the Egyptian international’s desire to leave Anfield be true.

Salah is believed to be quite disappointment at some recent decisions taken at the Merseyside outfit, most particularly that of Jurgen Klopp awarding the capatain’s armband to youngster Trent Alexander Arnold for the Champions League group stage fixture against FC Midtjylland rather than the much more senior figure of Salah.

And despite reports of the Reds wanting to table improved contract terms for the club’s premier attacking force, ex-Manchester United defender Neville has voiced doubts over Salah’s long-term future in the Liverpool FC colours should teams like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid enter the fray to sign the 28-year-old forward.

“I thought Salah would always leave Liverpool, I said that a couple of years ago, maybe it was a little bit premature at the time, saying I thought he’d leave in the next 18 months”, Neville said, as quoted by Express.

“I just always had the feeling that he would want to go and explore playing in a different country and he would have aspirations to do so.

“That’s why the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, whoever it is that is after him, is probably in his ear.

“He’s got two and a half years left on his contract.

Jurgen Klopp has so far made no comment on the latest rumour mongering regarding Salah’s unhappiness whilst turning out for the Anfield giants as the Liverpool FC manager remains focused on his team’s push for back-to-back top-flight titles.
