Liverpool remain firm on Divock Origi’s £20 million worth valuation amid Wolves interest

Wolves’ strong interest in Liverpool FC fringe first-teamer Divock Origi could be rebuffed by the asking price being demanded by the Merseysiders to part ways with the Belgian international forward.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Origi is wanted by the Midlands-based outfit only on a loan basis as Nuno Espírito Santo’s side seek to add attacking reinforcements at the Molineux Stadium in the aftermath of Roberto Jimenez’ skull injury sidelining the Mexican striker for a number of months.

Origi’s future in the Reds shirt looks on the verge of a conclusion, with the 25-year-old having clocked just eight minutes of Premier League football this season.

Jurgen Klopp is understood to be willing to offload the Belgian international this January should any of the interested clubs, Wolves and Inter Milan, the Italian outfit joining the race to sign Origi last month, shell out a fee in the region of £20 million.

Nuno’s Wolves, for the time being, seem reluctant to fork out the price-tag on Origi’s head, but with Fabio Silva’s miserable form in front of the goal following Jimenez’s injury. the Midlanders might be tempted to pay whatever necessary to land the Belgian’s signature.
