Rumours doing the rounds of late suggesting that Mohammad Salah is certain to take the exit door out of Anfield this coming summer have been reportedly turned a blind eye by Liverpool FC, according to claims from the Express.
Salah’s supposed unhappiness at being overlooked for skippering the Merseyside Reds in Jordan Henderson’s absence, coupled with increasing interest in his services from the likes of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, had given birth to talk that the Egyptian international attacker could be lured away from England.
The 28-year-old remains the defending champions’ highest goalscorer this season, having netted 13 goals in 17 top-flight outings.
Jurgen Klopp and Co, however, are reported to be quite calm on the current series of events concerning Salah’s long-term future in the Liverpool FC colours as the Anfield outfit seek to tie down the former AS Roma man to an improved and extended deal.
The Reds gaffer had been tipped to look at alternatives in the transfer market should Salah’s exit from Anfield become a reality in the coming months, with Paulo Dybala and long-term target Kylian Mbappe indicated to be two such quality names in attack the Merseysiders will look to make a move for.
