Origi’s exit imminent this January window in a loan deal

Divock Origi seems certain to head out of Anfield in the ongoing January transfer window in a loan deal as the Belgian international struggles for game-time in the Liverpool FC colours.

Reports from Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport have claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s side are willing to sanction a move away from Anfield for the 25-year-old Origi in the hopes of the striker getting some much-needed first-team involvement elsewhere.

Origi has courted considerable interest from clubs across Europe scouting the transfer market for attacking reinforcements but both Wolves and Inter Milan have fallen short in reaching out to Liverpool FC for Origi’s signature, however, the latter still do remain interested in making a move for the striker to provide backup to his compatriot Romelu Lukaku.

As Diogo Jota nears his much-anticipated return to the first-team fold at Anfield within the next few weeks, either one of Origi or Takumi Minamino would have to cede their spot on the bench to make way for Liverpool FC’s latest recruit on the attacking front and it is Origi who is being tipped to have become surplus to requirements for Klopp.

Antonio Conte is understood to be keen on signing Origi this January and with merely a week to go before the window concludes, the Inter Milan boss would up the ante on acquiring the Reds striker in a short-team deal.
