Liverpool FC could be set to miss the presence of key first-team regular Fabinho for the forthcoming games against RB Leipzig and Everton, according to reports from The Telegraph.
A minor muscle issue had sidelined the Brazillian international from appearing for Jurgen Klopp’s outfit in the 3-1 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
The Merseysiders next take on RB Leipzig in the Last-16 of the UEFA Champions League and the travelling party that would make the way to Hungary is likely not to feature Fabinho as the midfielder faces a race against time in order to be fit for the game against the Bundesliga club.
Fabinho has been operating as a makeshift option in the heart of the Liverpool FC backline for a majority of the ongoing campaign owing to long-term injury layoffs for the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
However, new boy Ozan Kabak had been drafted into the centre-back role last weekend by Jurgen Klopp, with the on-loan defender making his debut in the Liverpool FC colours in the loss to the Foxes on the road.
