A great second-half showing from the visitors Liverpool FC ensured a much-needed end to the Merseysiders’ four-game-long losing run in Premier League action as Jurgen Klopp’s side emrged victorious on their travels to Bramall Lane.
Curtis Jones opened the scoring in emphatic fashion and Roberto Firmino forced an own goal from the Blades defender Kean Bryan in the final third of the game to make it a comfortbale 2-0 win for Liverpool FC.

Jurgen Klopp’s men could have taken the lead in the inital minutes in South Yorskhire had it not been for Aaron Ramsdale being a force to reckon with while manning the goalposts for the hosts.
The Sheffield United No.1 was called into action a number of times during the first-half procedings and the goalie was brilliant in defying efforts from the likes of Firmino, Salah and Jones in subseunt attacks for the Reds.
On the other end of the pitch, Adrian, who was handed a rare league start in the absence of Alisson Becker, stood his ground to make a fine stop to David McGoldrick’s close-range headed effort.

Trent Alexander-Arnold looked to trouble the Sheffield United backline with some great footwork before striking the ball with feroious power, only for Ramsdale to make another one of his tremendous saves as the shot-stopper single handedly kept his team in the contest heading into the half-time break.
Just three minutes into the closing 45 minutes, the visitors found a major breakthrough in the form of Curtis Jones slotting a well-placed finish past Ramsdale after Arnold had done tremendous work in keeping the ball in play on the byline.
Having taken a much-deserved lead, Klopp’s men were on the frontfood over the remainder of the match and all but sealed the game in their favour when Firmino’s brilliant play forced Sheffield United man Bryan to force the ball into his own net due to a major deflection.
A late late chance was put to waste by Mohammad Salah of all people as the this season’s highest goalscorer failed to bundle the ball into the back of the net after being spotted by Andy Robertson with a timely delivery.

The final whistle marked the end of a terrible run of form endured by the Premier League holders of late and took Klopp’s outfit to just two points adrift of the top-four spot in the standings.
