Emile Heskey believes Wolves forward Adama Traore could prove to be a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC outfit as the Spanish international is linked with a move away from the Molineux Stadium in the summer.
The Reds have been reported previously of registering interest in the pacey winger and rumours intensified in the last summer window but Klopp ended up sanctioning the purchase of Traore’s former teammate Diogo Jota.
Traore’s ability on the pitch was once again for show during the recent meeting in Midlands between Wolves and Liverpool FC with Jurgen Klopp’s men emerging narrow victors despite a closely-contested match.
In an interview with The Independent, the ex-England international Heskey claims that the style of play adopted by the Merseyside Reds suits that of the Wolves talisman who Hesky believes would thrive in the Anfield surroundings.
‘I think he suits a lot of teams but 100 per cent Liverpool,’ Heskey said.
‘If you look at last season the way Liverpool played a lot of the goals they scored, a lot of them were fast counter attacks.
‘He definitely comes into that bracket, again there’s no reason why you can’t have competition in several positions.’
