Reds star attacker Mohammad Salah has affirmed that Liverpool FC are heading in the right direction in light of recent results as the Egyptian international added another personal accolade to his collection.
Salah was awarded the Player of the Month trophy for Liverpool FC on the back of another superb month on a personal note for the 28-year-old despite Jurgen Klopp’s Merseyside men failing to hit the ground running.
Liverpool FC, however, managed to gains some respite with consecutive wins against RB Leipzig in Champions League football before finally cutting short a miserable losing run in top-flight action as a Diogo Jota goal claimed a 1-0 victory over Wolves last week.
In an interview with the club’s official website, Salah said that he felt positive over the recent results secured by the Reds and sounded out ambitions for going further into the Champions League.
“It’s a nice feeling to be winning it again.
“It’s a good feeling and I’m happy about our last results, so hopefully we can just keep winning.
“It’s tough for all of us because of the situation we have been through and our position in the Premier League, but I believe it’s going to be better. In the Champions League we are doing good.
“I don’t want to just talk about my season because we play as a team, so I’d say it’s a tough season for all of us and we just need to carry on and try to win games.
“I just want to say thank you very much for voting for me.
“We’re going to give our 100 per cent to win the next few games and hopefully we can do that and do good also in the Champions League.”
