Inter Milan enter the fray for Liverpool striker Divock Origi

Serie A table-toppers Inter Milan are the latest entrants in the widely-contested race to sign Liverpool FC forward Divock Origi who looks increasingly likely to depart Anfield in the summer.

According to reports from the Italian publication CalcioMercato, Origi’s sale has been given the nod by the Reds gaffer Jurgen Klopp as he remains on the hunt for funds to finance his business in the transfer market this time around.

The Belgian international is way down the pecking order at the Merseyside outfit and with his spot in the national team pool far from certain, Origi is bound to seek an exit in search of first-team opportunities elsewhere.

Reports claim that the Inter Milan manager Conte is keen on strengthening his attacking ranks and Origi’s availability could tempt the former Chelsea boss in making a move for the 25-year-old.

Origi has previously courted interest from La Liga outfit Real Sociedad with the Reds wanting a sizeable offer to part ways with their fringe first-teamer and reinvest across other options.
