Liverpool keeping tabs on Leicester City defensive star Caglar Soyuncu

Caglar Soyuncu has emerged as the latest entrant on Liverpool FC’s transfer radar ahead of this summer window with speculation rife that Jurgen Klopp is planning a major rebuild of his first-team ranks.

According to reports from the Mirror, Soyuncu is one player Klopp is keen on making a move for in the summer following the Turkish international establishing himself to be one of the top centre-back talents across the Premier League division.

The 24-year-old Soyuncu is Leicester City boss’ Brendan Rodgers’ prized asset in the heart of the Foxes backline which suggests that the ex-Liverpool FC gaffer might be unwilling to part ways with his first-team regular if not for a sizeable fee.

Interestingly, such rumours linking Soyuncu with a move to Anfield in the mid-year transfer window come amid strong claims of Liverpool FC intensifying their extended approach for RB Leipzig starlet Ibrahima Konaté.

Previous reports had indicated that Jurgen Klopp was pushing for the deal to go through as the French defender became a major prospect for a host of European heavyweights after impressing for the Bundesliga outfit these past two seasons.
