Liverpool vs Real Madrid – Liverpool Predicted Lineups | UCL 2020-21

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC outfit take on Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid on Wednesday night at Anfield with the Reds trailing their Spanish counterparts by two goals heading into the second leg contest.

The earlier meeting between the two sides held in Madrid last week went Zidane’s way with his players securing a well-earned 3-1 win courtesy of a brace from Vinicius Junior.

Let us now take a look at how Jurgen Klopp might set his Liverpool side in the most elite competition in European football against one of the favourites-

Alisson Becker should continue between the sticks and Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to ring in any changes to his four-man backline following the recent win over Aston Villa in Premier League action this past weekend.

The Reds gaffer would be keen on tinkering around with his options upfront as a two-goal deficit could convince Klopp on starting all four of his attacking names- Jota, Mane, Salah and Firmino.

Mane had been benched for the Villa clash but could be in line to earn a recall as he struggles for form in front of the goal with Liverpool FC requiring all firepower they can muster on the attacking front to book their place in the semi-finals of the competition.

Jordan Henderson’s return to the Anfield fold in the near future remains uncertain with the skipper expected to play no part in the forthcoming game.
