Liverpool’s penultimate game of the Premier League season takes them to Turf Moor to square up against Burnley with a win meaning Jurgen Klopp’s side would move into fourth place in the league table.
The Reds have displayed a great zeal of form in recent times especially last time around in the 2-1 win over West Brom on the road in which it all came down to Alisson Becker to head the winning goal in the final seconds of stoppage time.
Chelsea’s victory over Leicester City on Tuesday meant the west Londoners displacing the Foxes off the third spot and with Brendan Rodger’s men having played a game more than Liverpool, the Merseysiders can move above them on goal difference should they emerge victors at Turf Moor.
Their upcoming opponents Burnley have picked up two wins from their last four outings and are sure to present a viable threat to the visiting Reds who seek a much-needed win to keep their top-four hopes alive heading into the final matchday later this week.
