Liverpool are speculated to have tabled a bid worth £40 million to land Lille attacker Jonathan Ikone who played an influential role in his side’s Ligue 1 title-winning heroics earlier this week.

According to reports from the Mirror, Ikone is understood to have found an admirer in Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp who is keen on improving his options up top on the pitch considering the results last time around witnessed at Anfield.
