Leicester City have defeated Liverpool and Chelsea to the signature of the in-demand RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka who is nearing his move to the King Power Stadium.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the 22-year-old Daka is set to become Leicester City’s newest addition of this summer’s transfer window in what would come as a major blow to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
The Reds are been reported to be in the race for the wantaway forward who enjoyed a terrific spell in front of the goal just this past season for Salzburg with Daka scoring 27 goals in just 28 league outings.
Klopp is in the transfer market for a fresh attacking name to add to his options at Anfield as he is resigned to losing out on Divock Origi who is backed to leave the club this summer after seeing his game-time curtailed significantly the past couple of seasons.
Patson Daka is set to join Leicester, done deal. The official proposal has been accepted by RB Salzburg board today and #LCFC are planning to announce the new signing next week. Here we go soon! 🔵🦊 #Daka
No Liverpool, Chelsea, Leipzig for Daka. Advanced today by @mcgrathmike.
