Liverpool’s strong interest in making a move for Juventus star forward Federico Chiesa is under threat due to the player’s inflated price-tag which is rumoured to be in the region of €90 million.
Reports from Sky Sports claim that Jurgen Klopp remains keen on signing the 23-year-old winger who was a star turn at this summer’s UEFA European Championships with Roberto Mancini’s Azzuri who ran out deserved winners of the tournament.
Chiesa has also courted interest from Liverpool’s domestic rivals Chelsea in this summer’s transfer window but Klopp could be forced to pull the plug on any potential swoop for the Italian attacker owing to major pricing concerns with Juventus demanding a sizable transfer fee to part ways with their talented forward.

The Merseyside Reds have been backed to bring in a fresh face for their attacking department at Anfield on the back of some uninspiring set of displays from the otherwise brilliant Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane across the 2020-21 campaign.
Diogo Jota’s arrival at the club last summer had given Klopp some much-needed cover for Firmino in the central striking role and it is believed that the Liverpool boss could be tempted to repeat his transfer tactics this time around as well.
