Liverpool are backed to be keeping tabs on West Ham United forward player Jarrod Bowen in the run-up to next week’s transfer window deadline day.
Bowen has been a longstanding target for Jurgen Klopp in this summer’s window with the Liverpool boss speculated to be on the hunt for attacking reinforcements in the market.
With the likes of Harry Wilson and Xherdan Shaqiri calling it quits at Anfield to seal their moves elsewhere on a permanent basis, Klopp has only Takumi Minamino and the teenage starlet Harvey Elliott to provide cover in the wide roles.
Reports from The Athletic claim that Liverpool are still in the fray for the 24-year-old Bowen as the talk of Divock Origi’s departure from the Merseysiders’s camp before Tuesday’s deadline remains persistent.
Origi’s future hangs in the balance amid interest shown in signing the Belgian from a number of Premier League clubs and a bid coming Liverpool’s way could have major implications on Klopp’s pursuit of Bowen in the last few days of this transfer window.
