Liverpool keeping tabs on La Liga star midfielder Carlos Soler

Carlos Soler has emerged on the transfer radar of Liverpool whose activity in the window this summer was insignificant with only one incoming in the form of Ibrahima Konate.

Jurgen Klopp was put under pressure by the Reds fanbase for bringing in a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, the long-serving anchorman in the midfield for Liverpool, who called it quits at Anfield to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Liverpool boss, however, did not pursue a move for any of the top names rumoured to be on his wishlist but Klopp could be lured into making a push for a new entrant on the scene on the back of the player’s recent run of form.

Reports from Fichajes claim that Valencia’s high-flying midfield man Carlos Soler is the new name on the shopping list for the Merseyside giants with the Spain international putting out a series of superb displays for club and country.

Soler has found the back of the net thrice in the first three league outings for Valencia and was also on the scoresheet for his country during the recent World Cup qualifying match against Sweden.
