Leeds United vs Liverpool – Liverpool’s Predicted Lineup | EPL 21-22

Liverpool will hope to return to winning ways on the Premier League front with top flight action awaiting Jurgen Klopp’s Reds at Elland Road on Sunday.

Jordan Henderson and Co. last turned out in the disappointing 1-1 draw against Chelsea before club football headed into the international break and Klopp will be counting on his players to deliver a worthy showing when taking on Leeds United.

Let us now take a look at how Jurgen Klopp might set his Liverpool side for the game against Leeds United –

4-3-3

Alisson Becker will be the man between the sticks for Liverpool and the four-man backline in front of him is not expected to see any tinkering around.

The Joel Matip-Van Dijk centre-back pairing has been on form and Klopp will not be hoping to change that combination heading into the weekend fixture.

There could be, however, changes in the midfield department with Thiago Alcantara likely to earn a recall into the starting XI at the expense of the teenage starlet Harvey Elliott who has been handed an extended run of action as of late.

Roberto Firmino started the Chelsea fixture last time around but was withdrawn with an injury concern which means Diogo Jota should be in line for a start come Sunday at Elland Road.
