Liverpool register interest in signing Wolves loan star Hwang Hee-chan

Liverpool have reportedly registered an interest in signing Wolves loan star Hwang Hee-chan on the back of his stellar run of form in the Premier League.

The South Korea international made the move to the Molineux from German outfit RB Leipzig in the summer on a loan basis and has earned rave reviews for his consistent displays in front of the goal.

According to reports from The Daily Mirror, it is suggested that Wolves might find it hard to retain Hwang’s services next summer with Premier League bigwigs Liverpool and Manchester City keen on making a move for the Leipzig loanee.

The Molineux outfit could be forced to push for the loan deal to be made permanent come January when the transfer window reopens as Liverpool keep an eye out for reinforcements in attack which is a priority for Jurgen Klopp.

Both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are due to partake in the forthcoming AFCON leaving Klopp with limited firepower up top on the pitch in light of Roberto Firmino’s recent struggles and a subsequent spell on the sidelines with a hamstring issue.
