Jurgen Klopp pushing for Liverpool to make a move for Porto’s Luis Diaz in the forthcoming January transfer window to bolster the attacking ranks at Anfield.
The Liverpool boss Reds is set to lose both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations come January and is reportedly is keen to bring in cover for his forward lineup.
Diaz has been immense in his showings in the final third for FC Porto this season which has made him a top name on the shopping list for Klopp ahead of the turn of the year when the transfer window reopens.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet Marca, it is claimed that Klopp is plotting to prioritise a swoop for Diaz’s signature in January despite some concerns on the pricing front for the Anfield camp.
Across 19 games in all competitions, the Porto star man has netted 12 goals so far in this campaign which makes him an attractive name in the market as Liverpool remain on the hunt for reinforcements.
