Liverpool monitoring the situation of Paulo Dybala amid contract standoff

Liverpool are understood to be monitoring the situation of Paulo Dybala amid the forward’s contract standoff with Juventus over a new contract.

The Argentina international’s future in the Serie A looks bleak with speculation rife that his talks with the Juventus camp failing to come to a consensus between the two parties.

Dybala has been linked with a move to England’s top flight for some time with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United the suitors for the highly-rated forward’s signature in the transfer market.

According to reports from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, it is claimed that Liverpool are the latest to join the fray for the Juventus star first-teamer who could look to demand an exit come next summer when his deal is due to expire.

Jurgen Klopp’s search for reinforcements in the final third to add quality talent to his attacking roster now has the 28-year-old Dybala as a viable target to eye up on a free transfer.
