Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly considering a move for Nat Phillips who is heavily expected to leave Anfield come January.
Premier League duo Newcastle United and West Ham United have both been linked as suitors for the 24-year-old central defender following speculation gaining ground that Jurgen Klopp will not be reluctant to offload him.
Liverpool’s asking price for Phillips, currently sidelined from on-field action with a fractured cheekbone, is understood to be set at £15 million with Klopp eager to secure funds from the sale as interest arrives in the defender’s signature from Germany’s top flight.
Reports from the German news outlet BILD claim that Eintracht Frankfurt are mulling over opening talks with the Reds camp for signing Phillips in the forthcoming winter transfer window which opens at the turn of the year.
Frankfurt have the Anfield first-team outcast Phillips on a four-man wishlist of replacements for star man Evan Ndicka who is poised to call it quits at the club in the forthcoming transfer windows.
