Barcelona are tipped to be the favourites to land the signature of Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita in the next summer transfer window.
The Guinea international has failed to cement his berth on the team sheet at Anfield and the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could be convinced into shipping him out on a permanent basis to pocket a sizable fee ahead of the new campaign’s start.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet El Nacional, it is suggested that Keita is not interested in renewing his terms on Merseyside beyond the summer of 2023 and will look for a move elsewhere.
Barcelona’s hunt for reinforcements in the centre of the park could take them to the 26-year-old Keita with the newly appointed manager at Camp Nou Xavi wanting to add fresh blood to his ranks.
Liverpool, however, will find plenty of suitors in the transfer market for their midfield maestro with the likes of Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Roma and West Ham United also believed to be right in the mix.
