Liverpool’s youth talent will be out to prove their ability on the big stage with the Reds taking on Shrewsbury in the FA Cup showdown at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp will hope for his second-string side to advance to the next round of the cup competition and put out a solid display on all fronts against a much weaker opponent.
Konate retains starting berth
The Frenchman partners Virgil van Dijk once again in the heart of the Liverpool backline despite the return of recent COVID-19 absentee Joel Matip to the Anfield fold.
Another major returnee is Andy Robertson who takes up the left-back role following the end of his three game suspension.
Fabinho starts in midfield
Klopp has his senior name in the centre of the park in Brazil international Fabinho who is joined by Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Tyler Morton.
In the final third, Curtis Jones features alongside academy prospects Max Woltman and Kaide Gordon with the latter set for another game of senior action after turning out earlier in this season in cup football.
