Liverpool will look to advance to the next round of the FA Cup when they welcome Cardiff City to Anfield on Sunday for the fourth round tie.
Jurgen Klopp’s men saw off Shrewsbury Town rather convincingly in their opening FA Cup clash with the Merseysiders posting a 4-1 scoreline against their opponents.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane remain involved in the AFCON but the duo’s absence has not meant Liverpool struggling while out on the pitch, as had been expected by many, with Jordan Henderson and Co. putting up solid displays on all fonts.
The FA Cup trophy has not been clinched by the Reds since the 2005-06 tournament and Klopp will be hoping for his players to deliver on Sunday when Cardiff City make the travels to Anfield.

TEAM NEWS
The young talent Harvey Elliott is in line to make his return to the matchday squad following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Another player Jurgen Klopp could have back in his fold would be the Belgian striker Divock Origi but he is unlikely to make the starting team sheet for the home side.
Midfield maestro Thiago Alcantara remains unavailable for selection with a chest infection.
PREDICTION
