David Maddock of The Daily Mirror has reported that Thiago is set for further assessment on his injury with Liverpool hoping for a brief spell out on the sidelines for their midfield man.
Thiago was a part of the celebrations with Liverpool emerging winners of the cup competition following a tense penalty shootout win which culminated when Chelsea’s Kepa sent his effort flying over the bar.
The Reds will now focus on the other competitions at hand with the Premier League title race wide open as the gap between Manchester City and Liverpool down to just six points with the latter having a game in hand.
