Liverpool go up against Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday with England’s top two teams in for a high-billed meeting.
Both sides advanced to the last four of the Champions League midweek with Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders seeing off Benfica in an evenly contested Anfield showdown which finished 3-3.
Manchester City, meanwhile, played out a tense nil-nil encounter against Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and booked a semi-final berth courtesy of the 1-0 first-leg win.
Klopp’s men were involved in a 2-2 draw away at the Eithad a week back in the Premier League with the game ensuring that the league campaign heads right down to the wire.

Diogo Jota picked up a minor knock midweek but should be deemed fit to make the matchday squad for the FA Cup contest against Manchester City.
Liverpool have no fresh concerns on the injury front following the Benfica clash and should have a host of regulars returning to the XI after being rested on Wednesday night.
