Returning to the defensive lineup for the home side Liverpool is the Cameroonian Joel Matip with Ibrahima Konate making way for the former’s inclusion.
Virgil van Dijk retains his centre-back berth as expected with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson filling in the full-back slots.
Henderson replaces Keita
The skipper Jordan Henderson is the other regular returning to the starting team sheet for Liverpool with Naby Keita dropping down to the bench.
Roberto Firmino misses out today with a minor foot niggle with Diaz joining Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the attacking third of the pitch.
