Manchester United have fallen behind in their transfer pursuit for Aurelien Tchouameni following Liverpool’s interest in getting the player at Anfield.
In addition, Real Madrid seems like the favorite to get hold of and land the French superstar in the Spanish capital according to reports in France.
This season, the 22-year-old has been in excellent form for the Ligue 1 club, and it is expected that he will leave in the summer.
In recent weeks, Jurgen Klopp’s side has been connected with the France international as he attempts to bolster his midfield options.
James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita’s futures are all in doubt, with Milner’s contract expiring at the end of the season and the other two have less than a year left on their present contracts.

Because Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are both 31, it is commonly expected that Liverpool would attempt to cut down the average age of their midfield engine room by signing Tchouameni.
The Merseyside club is said to have made greater progress in terms of a transfer for the outstanding kid, according to TF1 through GFFN.

Tchouameni’s link to Liverpool is growing by the week, and as the transfer window approaches, this is one to keep an eye on.
The Ligue 1 club has set a price of £83 million on their star player, which appears to be too high for the Reds to pay, but rumors of a move to Anfield aren’t going away, and the player himself isn’t ignoring it either.
Though Tchouameni would make Liverpool’s midfield go to the next level, a price tag of 80m pounds would make the FSG think twice before striking the deal.
