Fulham are set to make an opening offer for Liverpool defender Neco Williams who had spent the second half of the last season at Craven Cottage.
Williams had proved to be a useful loan signing for Marco Silva’s Fulham side who clinched the Championship and a promotion to the top flight with the manager keen to bring back the full-back to west London.
According to a report from Goal, it is claimed that Williams is a priority target for Fulham this summer with the newly-promoted outfit in line to table their move for the highly-rated Wales international valued at £15 million by Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side announced the capture of the 18-year-old Scottish starlet Calvin Ramsay last week and with the youngster’s recruitment, it was speculated that Williams would be allowed to head out the exit door at Anfield.
The incoming Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward is looking to trim down the squad at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal ahead of the start of the new season and Williams’ move away could be the first of many in the forthcoming weeks.
