Chelsea are ready to rival Liverpool’s interest in Dortmund maestro Jude Bellingham whose future has become the subject of much speculation in recent weeks.
Jurgen Klopp has long been keen on moving in for the 18-year-old midfield talent on the back of Bellingham emerging as a standout name for both club and country over the last year.
The Merseyside giants, however, are not the sole European powerhouse club waiting in the wings for Bellingham who is set to stay put with Dortmund until next summer when a big-money move elsewhere is tipped to be on the cards.
According to a report from the Spanish news outlet AS, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are in line to join Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race for Bellingham’s signature and set the stage for a high-billed three-way contest.
Dortmund had refused to part ways with their promising starlet this summer following the sale of talisman Erling Haaland to the English champions Manchester City for £51 million earlier in the transfer window.
