Jurgen Klopp downplays interest in Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham

Jurgen Klopp chose to downplay his interest in Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham who has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent times.

The England international’s rise in stock over the past year following his stellar run of displays for both club and country has courted attention from some of the biggest clubs across the continent with Liverpool right in the mix.

Bellingham appears set to stay put with Dortmund beyond this summer’s transfer window, however, and the Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp echoed the sentiment of the midfielder being unavailable on the market, as quoted by a report from TeamTalk.

“He’s not on the market, so that’s the first problem with that player. Well, the only problem with that player!”

Liverpool look likely to postpone their need of bringing in a new midfield player until next year which is when Bellingham is expected to be made available by Dortmund to his suitors albeit for a generous price tag.

Klopp will surely not find it easy moving in for one of the most promising names in European club football with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City also keeping close tabs on the 19-year-old Bellingham’s situation on the transfer front.
