Borussia Dortmund are credited with an interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita this summer amid rumours doing the rounds over the player’s future at Anfield.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that Dortmund are looking to move in for the 27-year-old Keita who is said to be considering his situation in the Liverpool camp following his fall down the pecking order.
The former Leipzig man, who faces a further spell on the sidelines due to a muscle issue, is subject to interest from Dortmund despite reports of Liverpool being keen to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
Keita has struggled for consistency since he made the move to Merseyside from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2018 but Liverpool are open to tabling a renewal with Klopp a big admirer of the player’s ability.
There have been cries from the Liverpool fans to add reinforcements to the midfield ranks which faces an injury crisis for now with the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the sidelines.
