Liverpool vs AFC Bournemouth – Liverpool’s Predicted Lineup | EPL 22-23

Liverpool play hosts to Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend with Jurgen Klopp’s men seeking a much-needed return to winning ways.

The Merseysiders were handed a 2-1 defeat by arch rivals Manchester United last time around which leaves them on the search for their first win of the new campaign.

Let us now take a look at how Jurgen Klopp might set up his Liverpool side for the upcoming game –

4-3-3

Alisson Becker will start between the goalposts for the home side with Jurgen Klopp not expected to ring in changes to his defensive lineup.

Joel Matip’s spell on the sidelines leaves Klopp with Joe Gomez as the viable option to partner Virgil van Dijk in the heart of the defence with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in the wing-back roles.

In midfield, Fabinho will push for a recall back into the starting XI with Klopp likely to drop James Milner and retain the likes of Jordan Henderson and Harvey Elliott.

Roberto Firmino looks set to lead the line once again in the absence of Darwin Nunez who remains suspended with the former expected to have Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz for company in the attacking third.
