The recent rumours of Liverpool wanting to terminate Arthur Melo’s loan spell come January have been quashed with Jurgen Klopp keen on the player’s start to life on Merseyside.
Arthur signed for the Anfield giants on deadline in a season-long loan transfer from Juventus with his arrival giving Liverpool some much-needed fresh blood in the injury-hit midfield roster.
He has made one substitute appearance so far, however, after being introduced off the bench in the 4-1 Champions League opener defeat to Napoli which raised questions over his long-term future in the Liverpool shirt.

According to a claim from the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are not mulling over sending Arthur Melo back to Juventus when the window reopens in January with the player committed to playing his part for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
It is understood that the 26-year-old Brazil international is working his way to full fitness after being left out of the national team squad for the upcoming games against Ghana and Tunisia in the international break.
