Liverpool are reportedly planning to reignite their efforts of signing Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde come next summer with Jurgen Klopp backed to bolster his midfield options.
Valverde was tracked closely by the Anfield camp in the later stages of this summer’s transfer window with talk gaining ground of Liverpool being open to parting with £85 million to land the highly-rated La Lig star.
Real, however, were quick to turn down the offer with the European champions unwilling to sanction the sale of the 24-year-old after losing another key midfield player in Casemiro to Manchester United.
According to a report from The Liverpool Echo, it is claimed that the Merseyside Reds are willing to revisit their interest in the Uruguayan international with Klopp out to add to his engine room roster.
Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham is among the names on Liverpool’s shopping list for the forthcoming transfer windows with the Reds likely to lose loan signing Arthur Melo when his season-long stint comes to an end.
