Liverpool are facing increasing competition from Premier League clubs to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo when the transfer window reopens this January.
Caicedo has emerged as a coveted name in the transfer market and was subject to serious interest from some of the biggest clubs across the land in the summer despite Brighton’s reluctance to part ways.
According to a report from CBS Sport ( via The Liverpool Echo), it is claimed that Brighton are bracing themselves for offers for the 20-year-old midfield talent Caicedo to come their way when the January window opens.
Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders are said to be one almost the host of English top-flight giants keeping close tabs on the player’s situation with Caicedo’s stellar run of showings making him a hot prospect for the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
Liverpool have been linked with a handful of midfielders in the recent past with talk gaining ground that the centre of the park is an area where the head coach Klopp is looking to add to his existing options sooner rather than later.
