Liverpool are said to be not in talks with Brighton over a move for Moises Caicedo despite the Reds’ rumoured interest in signing the midfield talent.
The Merseyside outfit have already bolstered Jurgen Klopp’s squad ahead of the January window officially opening by landing the signature of Dutch international winger Cody Gakpo from PSV in a £35 million deal.
Klopp, however, has been long on the search for a viable option to reinforce his midfield ranks with both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out of contract at the end of the season and tipped to leave the Liverpool fold.
According to a report from The Liverpool Echo, it is claimed that the Reds are not interested in moving in for Brighton star Moises Caicedo who has courted interest from some of the biggest Premier League clubs since the summer.
Liverpool could instead be keeping close tabs on their long-standing transfer target – Jude Bellingham with the English midfield sensation heavily tipped to make the move away from Borussia Dortmund next summer.
