Liverpool are said to be optimistic about signing Jude Bellingham in the summer with the English midfield talent certain to head out the exit door at Borussia Dortmund.
There is a strong likelihood that Dortmund will stand in the player’s way should he stick to his desire to leave at the end of the season following rumours that the German top flight giants had rebuffed a mid-season move elsewhere for Bellingham.
According to a report from Sky Sports Germany, it is claimed that the Reds, who are long-standing suitors for the 19-year-old England international, are growing in confidence of signing Bellingham despite the heavy competition they face for the midfielder.
The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all remain interested in the former Birmingham City starlet but Liverpool are likely to lure Bellingham with the possibility of becoming the next Steven Gerrard on Merseyside.
