Liverpool could part ways with talisman Mohamed Salah and sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa in a major revamp of the front line.
The 30-year-old Salah was handed a lucrative new deal in the summer of last year to keep him on Merseyside until 2025 with Jurgen Klopp pushing for his star forward to renew his terms amid interest from Europe’s biggest clubs in his signature.
Salah, however, has endured an inconsistent spell of displays this season in front of the goal as Liverpool have failed to replicate their usual brilliance with the Reds sitting ninth in the league table midway through the campaign.
According to a report from the Italian publication Calcio Mercato, it is claimed that Salah could be shown the exit door by Liverpool with Klopp credited with an interest in moving in for the Serie A talent Federico Chiesa.
Juventus, where Chiesa currently piles his trade, appeared to suggest that a fee in the region of £53 million is what it would take for them to green-light a move abroad where a host of top clubs are keen on the Italian forward.
