Liverpool interested in signing Valencia and USA midfielder Yunus Musah

Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Valencia and USA midfielder Yunus Musah with manager Jurgen Klopp looking to reinforce the Reds in the engine room.

Musah, a former Arsenal talent, is on the radar at Anfield where Liverpool’s topsy-turvy campaign so far has increased the pressure on Klopp to bring in a fresh pair of legs and bolster his midfield roster.

According to a report from the Spanish publication Fichajes, it is claimed that the Reds are in a three-horse race for Musah who was recently voted the 2022 U.S. Soccer Young Male Player of the Year for his stellar run of showings.

The Valencia starlet became the first teenager to start a World Cup match for the USMNT last year in Qatar as he started all four matches for his county on the back of his impressive displays at the club level in 2022.

He made 39 appearances for Valencia, scoring one goal and adding two assists in all competitions, which has made clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, keep tabs on him over a potential move in the summer.
