Liverpool face heavy competition for signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer with the Frenchman set to head into free agency at the end of the season.
Rabiot nearly signed for Manchester United last summer with the move not going through due to the player’s wage demands but that has not stopped the Red Devils from continuing to keep tabs on the Serie A talent.
According to a report from Football Insider, it is claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are in the mix for the 27-year-old France international with Manchester United and Manchester City also credited with an interest in the midfielder’s signature.
As Klopp plans to rebuild his squad over the summer, with the midfield roster in dire need of reinforcements, Rabiot could make for a viable target for the Liverpool manager considering the former’s soon-to-be free agent status.
Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and potentially James Milner are all but certain to head out the exit door at Anfield which could open the door for at least two new midfielders to come through for the Reds.
