Fabrizio Romano has confirmed speculation that Liverpool outcast Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be heading out the exit door at Anfield this summer.
The one time England international midfielder is out of contract with Jurgen Klopp’s side at the end of the season and there had been no interest from both parties to renew his deal.
Chamberlain has struggled for regular first-team involvement in recent years with his inconsistency in form and recurring injury troubles seeing him fall down the pecking order to become a bit part player for Klopp and Liverpool.

In his tweet, the transfer guru Romano has claimed that Chamberlain would be heading into free agency come the summer with the plan having already been set in motion last November as Liverpool were not keen on retaining the midfielder’s services.
Chamberlain has won the Premier League, EFL Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Anfield and it remains to be seen which clubs would be in the mix for his signature later this year.
