According to a report from the Italian news outlet Calciomercatoweb ( via 90min), it is claimed that Milinkovic-Savic, who has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, has emerged as a viable target for the Reds.
He has held out on extending his deal with Lazio in the hopes of sealing a move to the Premier League where he has no shortage of suitors with Liverpool joined by United and the league leaders Arsenal in pursuit of the 26-year-old Serie A talent.
Lazio are understood to have accepted the high possibility of parting ways with the Serbia international later this year as the Italian top-flight giants put contingency plans in place with Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson on their radar.
