Liverpool could lose out on Borussia Monchengladbach star Manu Kone’s signature to Chelsea who are seen as the favourites to land the midfielder.
Both Premier League giants are out to bolster their engine room over the coming summer and the emerging Bundesliga talent Kone is said to be one of the names on their wishlists.
According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that Kone has always ‘dreamt’ of a switch to Stamford Bridge or Real Madrid which could play spoilsport to Liverpool’s plans of signing the 21-year-old.
Across Europe, the likes of Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are known to be admirers of the Monchengladbach talent who has put out some stellar displays in the German top flight and grown into a fine defensive midfielder for his side.
