Liverpool have reportedly been given a £50 million price tag to sign Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha in this summer’s transfer window.
Palhinha is one of the names on Liverpool’s summer shopping list after the Reds decided to withdraw themselves from the hotly contested race to sign Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The Reds have been keeping tabs on the Portugal international Palhinha who has enjoyed a stellar debut campaign in the Premier League with the league’s new boys Fulham and has grown into a star player for the Cottagers boss Marco Silva.
According to a report from Football Insider, it is claimed that Palhinha’s suitors across the country, namely Liverpool and Manchester United, have been told to fork out a fee of £50 million to convince Fulham to part company with their midfielder.
Bundesliga holders Bayern Munich are also considered to be one of the interested clubs in the former Sporting Lisbon man who signed for Fulham in a £20 million deal just last summer and has been outstanding in his displays since then.
