According to the Liverpool Echo, Real Madrid has reportedly turned down Liverpool’s bid to sign Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder is considered a crucial member of the Los Blancos’ first team and is not available for transfer. They have recently rejected Liverpool’s €60 million offer for the French star.
Tchouameni remains an integral part of Real Madrid’s plans and is not for sale despite the Red’s interest.
The midfielder gained recognition during his time at AS Monaco in Ligue 1, where his performances caught the attention of many elite clubs. Eventually, Real Madrid managed to secure the signing of the talented 23-year-old, acquiring him for the 2022/23 season.

At the beginning, the French international made a strong impact, impressing with his skills. However, his form declined during the latter half of the season, resulting in him being excluded from important matches.
Throughout his time with Real Madrid, Tchouameni played a total of 50 games, contributing four assists. He spent approximately 2,840 minutes on the field.
His contract with the club is set to expire in the summer of 2028, and the Los Blancos considers him an invaluable asset that they will not part with.
Liverpool had expressed a strong interest in signing Tchouameni, with their manager Jurgen Klopp particularly keen on adding him to their squad.
The 23-year-old was a top priority for Klopp as he sought to rebuild his team’s midfield after a disappointing 2022/23 season.
The Reds had already secured the services of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and now had their sights set on the Madrid star.
However, Los Blancos hold Tchouameni in high regard and view him as a crucial asset for their future, leaving them uninterested in entertaining any discussions regarding a potential sale.
Klopp will need to redirect his attention to alternative transfer targets as Real Madrid has firmly rejected Liverpool’s bid for Tchouameni.
